The Academy
A complete diploma programme built from the industry up
Travel Talent Academy is an industry-backed, online Professional Diploma programme designed to prepare learners for entry-level careers across the global travel and tourism industry.
The programme is studied entirely online and at your own pace, on a smartphone, tablet or computer. There are no classes to attend and no fixed timetable. It takes 70 to 80 hours of study in total, which most learners spread over around five months, and you can move faster or take longer to suit your circumstances. The programme combines structured learning, workplace simulation, AI-supported mentoring and competency-based assessment.
How the Programme Works
The Student Experience
Four things that make the difference
Structured learning
A clear, guided programme helps learners move from industry foundations into specialist sectors without needing prior experience.
Industry-informed curriculum
The curriculum has been designed from some 1,000 real job descriptions spanning the major sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.
Workplace simulation
Learners apply their knowledge inside realistic scenarios designed to reflect the operational, commercial and customer-facing realities of travel.
AI-supported mentoring
AI-supported mentors trained and built from input by experienced travel industry professionals, enabling learners to receive consistent guidance throughout the programme.
How It Is Built
Built backwards from real jobs
Travel Talent Academy is a multi-sector learning platform that prepares people for careers across hotels, tour operators, destination management companies, airlines, cruise, travel agencies and sustainability. The curriculum is built backwards from some 1,000 real entry-level job descriptions from across the industry, including job descriptions contributed directly by our industry partners, so that what learners study reflects what employers are actually hiring for.
Quality
Informed by real travel, not training theory
Every module is reviewed against the job descriptions it was built from, and shaped by industry veterans who have led at Hilton, WTTC, IAG, British Airways, American Express, Expedia and VisitBritain, with content contributed directly by launch partners. The people who built their careers in this industry are the people setting the standard.
Cordera World Group
A simulated employer environment where learning becomes practice
Travel Talent Academy uses Cordera World Group as a simulated employer environment where learners can apply what they are learning in context. Rather than learning concepts in isolation, learners encounter workplace-style scenarios, customer situations, operational challenges and professional decision points within a structured travel organisation.
Eight Sectors
The full breadth of the travel industry
Multilingual
Built for global delivery
Travel is a global industry, and Travel Talent Academy has been designed for international delivery from the outset. The Academy launches in English, Spanish and Japanese, with the technical capability to support delivery in up to 90 languages as the programme scales.
Student Outcomes
Recognised achievement
Successful completion of each sector awards a Travel Talent Academy Professional Certificate. Learners who complete the full programme receive the Professional Diploma, a digital credential and a transcript of achievement.
All awards are independent professional qualifications issued by Global Talent Academy Ltd (Company No. 16709077). They are not government-regulated or university-awarded qualifications.
